摩根士丹利称，尽管澳大利亚房价大跌，但澳洲联储也不太可能在2019年降息。摩根士丹利策略师DanielBlake等1月6日在报告中写道，随着经济消化楼市回调对财富带来的负面效应，澳大利亚政府支出和强劲出口或成为经济的支撑来源，澳大利亚房价和审批可能进一步下降;认为全国实际房价将从高峰到低谷下跌10-15%，预计就业和失业受到的负面影响较小，不足以让澳洲联储转向降息。
