摩根士丹利认为，由于信贷环境收紧，房地产市场情绪低迷，房市融资大幅下跌等因素，澳元可能陷入危机。摩根士丹利称，消费者情绪在3个月前开始变谨慎。摩根士丹利对澳元的价格预估处于市场预期的底部，近期澳洲联储的动作证明澳元也可能走向市场预期低端区间。在澳洲大选结束之前，不预计会有任何财政刺激措施。而至少在年底就业稳定之前，也不预计澳洲联储会降息。
